Bastille Wine Bar and French Bistro

Birthday lunch at Bastille. Their set lunches are pretty value for money, $28++ for 2 courses and $38++ for 3. 

Creamy bone marrow, a huge one split down the middle served with crusty baguette and sea salt. I am not an expert in bone marrows but this one was really tasty 

Foie Gras served with brioche and some sweet fruit (pear?). Cant go wrong with foie gras :)

Tenderloin with fries, french beans and a grilled tomato. The steak was decent but I thought it could have been juicier/more flavorful. 

Creme brule and chocolate mousse for desert. The chocolate was really thick and rich, sinfully good.

Overall, a pretty good and value-for-money lunch. 

Will come back to try the other items on the menu (duck looked good)
